This book includes "those who did not come home" along with "Those who did come home". Over 185 biographies of these veterans of World War 1, who came from the Towns of Caistor, Gainsborough and South Grimsby, Ontario. This area is now known as the Township of West Lincoln located in the Region of Niagara, Ontario halfway between Lake Ontario on the North and Lake Erie on the South. the veterans, of the Canadian Expeditionary Force (C.E.F.) who served from these three townships, had to have some connection to this area. Therefore they had to be born, lived, married, died, buried in a local cemetery or their parents or next-of-kin lived in this area.
