Based on the celebrated novels by John Galsworthy, set amidst the social upheaval of the Victorian era through the 1920s, two British miniseries tell of a rich and powerful family divided by ambition, adultery, and revenge. Series One stars Damian Lewis as Soames Forsyte, a successful London solicitor and wealthy scion of a respectable upper-middle-class Victorian family, while Series Two continues the story of young love in the next generation. A lavish production, seen on Masterpiece Theatre.
